Newly appointed head chef John Murphy has been in the industry for over twenty-five years, developing his abilities in catering to a two rosette standard.
He has previously worked for highly reputable restaurants, such as Cargo a boutique hotel located in stylised Oxford St, Southampton; The 3 Cups Inn, an award winning restaurant; and The East Close hotel, an upmarket food provider that also doubles as a wedding venue.
John’s invaluable experience and knowledge of worldwide cuisine gained through travel, has developed his culinary specialities, one being sushi. Come and experience something a little different on our sushi night at The Fox. John also specialises in pastry making, designing scrumptious deserts, beautifully homemade.
The Fox’s menus are created to tantalise taste buds and are cooked to perfection by culinary genius John Murphy.
